Traffic calming measures are urgently needed on the “lethal” Portumna / Killimor road, according to Galway East Deputy, Ulick Burke

He’s calling on the National Roads Authority and the County Council to introduce a speed limit and traffic calming measures along the route at Woodpark

He says road markings are barely visible after road works there and the road needs to be resurfaced as the area has been the scene of several crashes
