CALL FOR REVAMP OF CITYS PUBLIC LIGHTING

There’s been a call for an overhaul of the city’s public lighting system.

Labour Councillor Billy Cameron has called on the ESB and Galway City Council to address the problem as he says there are a number of areas around the city that need more lighting

Councillor Cameron says for safety reasons, all public parks, laneways, housing estates and public roadways should be sufficiently lit.
