CALL FOR NAMA PROPERTIES TO BE USED TO REDUCE HOUSING LISTS

A Galway County Councillor is calling on the Government to use properties in NAMA to house people on housing lists.

Councillor Seán Canney says there are currently 3,120 people on the waiting list in the County alone.

And there are only 159 vacant houses with just 76 of those fit to be let out to people on the waiting list.
