CALL FOR EXTRA FUNDING FOR RENMORE FOOTPATHS

The footpaths in Renmore are in an extremely poor condition and a danger to the public according to Cllr. Terry O’ Flaherty.

She is calling for Galway City Council to allocate major funding to rebuild these footpaths in the 2008 budget.

Cllr. O’ Flaherty says that many of the houses in Renmore were built over 40 years ago and not enough has been done since to improve the areas basic infrastructure.
