C’ot—gÕs creative dance opens up new worlds for tiny kids

Galway City national schools are the only ones in the country that do not have classes of 35 or more, according to new figures from the Department of Education.
Almost a quarter of city national school students are in classes with more than 30 pupils Ñ nearly 1,500 pupils of the almost 6,000 students are in classes with between 30 and 34 pupils.
The majority of students (32%) are in classes with between 25 and 29 pupils.
The smallest class sizes in the city are between 10 and 19 students with 1,269 young people (21%) lucky enough to have snared a school with these class sizes.
A further 1,324 students (22%) are in the 20-24 size bracket, the figures from the 2006/2007 academic year compiled by the Department of Education show.
