Homes with guide prices starting at just €25,000 are set to go under the hammer at O’Donnellan & Joyce’s Midsummer Auction later this month.

A total of 45 properties will go under the hammer – the morning session will feature mainly commercial, land and investment properties, with registration at 10am and the auction beginning at 11am. Afternoon session registration commences at 1.30pm, with the auction beginning at 3pm, containing a huge variety of residential and investment properties.

All of the afternoon residential properties are under being sold by private individuals or are probate sales (on behalf of the deceased) – none are family homes that have been seized by banks. Colm O’Donnellan told Tribune Property:

“This auction sees a large amount of Galway city centre homes and apartments coming to the market in extremely popular locations such as the Claddagh, Woodquay, Henry Street and Cross Street, as well as Taylor’s Hill and Salthill. “These are well established and popular locations and never fail to attract huge interest from potential purchasers.

“It’s well-established locations that are attracting the most interest at the moment.
