BULLAUN MAN IS TOP EUROPEAN TRUCK DRIVE

EAST Galway man Gabriel Ward, from Bullaun, won the European Young Truck Driver of the Year Award in Sweden yesterday (Saturday)

Drivers from all over Europe competed for the coveted first prize, worth 120,000 Euro including a ‘Scania’ lorry.

Gabriel is a native of Cappattagle but lives in Bullaun with his wife Laura and four children.

A welcome home reception will take place for Gabriel this Sunday evening in Bullaun.
