BUILDING ACTIVITY IN GALWAY DOWN 14PERCENT

We’re building fewer new homes and offices in Galway this year.

Figures released today by GeoDirectory, Ireland’s only database of residential and commerical buildings, reveal a 14 per cent drop in building activity in Galway in the first six months of this year.

The survey identified 459 new buildings in the county – 415 homes, 38 offices and six dual-purpose buildings.
