BROTHERS OF CHARITY GALWAY TO USE FUNDING RESERVES TO SAVE RESPITE SERVICE
Date Published: 12-May-2010
The Brothers of Charity will have to dip into its reserves to save respite services in Galway.
That’s according to the Acting Chief Executive Anne Geraghty.
It follows cuts of up to two-and-a-half million euro in funding for Brothers of Charity Services in Galway.
The Brothers of Charity offer residential care, respite and support for adults and children with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Anne Geraghty says the rainy day money should save respite services this year but she fears for its future beyond that.
