BROTHERS CHARGED WITH DIRECTING CRIMINAL ORGANISATION IN GALWAY

Two brothers with city addresses have been charged with directing the activities of a criminal organisation in Galway.

26 year old Eddie O’ Loughlin of41 Rockfield Park Rahoon and 30 year old Michael O’ Loughlin 102 Rahylin Glebe Ballybane appeared before a special sitting of Galway District last evening.

The two brothers have been charged with directing the activities of a criminal organisation in Galway between February and June of this year contrary to section 7A of the criminal justice act.

A third man, 22 year old Dean Sheppard of 49 Cookes Terrace Bohermore also appeared before Galway District court last evening.

He has been charged under section 3 of the misuse of drugs act for the possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of selling on the 12th of April 2010.

All three will appear before Harristown district court next week.
