BROADBAND ROLLED OUT IN ARAN ISLANDS

The Aran Islands have been officially hooked up to broadband.

The switch on of the National Broadband scheme to Inis Meain, Inis Mor and Inis Oirr took place in Inis Mor at half past eleven.

Minister Eamon O’Cuív, and National Project developer of the National Broadband Scheme, Damien Gallagher officiated at the event.
