Boys Club to build new club house

Our Lady’s Boys Club in Galway City, now the longest running youth club in the country, is about to launch a major fundraising drive for a new €2.5 million Clubhouse project which is planned for Sea Road.
The club caters for young people from the age of ten upwards, with a range of different activities such as rugby, soccer, golf, basketball, volleyball, camping, baseball, table tennis, snooker, pool and badminton, computer training and interclub activities.
The main aim of the club is to develop and foster civic spirit among the youth of the city, to provide social skills training, to provide positive alternatives to substance misuse, to address physical and mental wellbeing through sport, and generally to offer decent facilities for the youth of the city.
