Boys Club’s new home

Minister Éamon Ó Cuív and Bishop of Galway Most Rev. Dr. Martin Drennan led the tributes to almost seventy years of work by Our Lady’s Boys’ Club, when the formal launch took place in the city at the weekend of a fundraising drive for the organisation’s new clubhouse.

The €1.5million plan for the clubhouse was unveiled at the function in the Ardilaun Hotel by Club President Jimmy Cunningham. The function was attended by a number of the club’s ‘old boys’, many of whom began their relationship with Boys’ Club decades ago, but who continue to support the work of the club now.
