BOOK OF EVIDENCE AWAITED FOR CITY STABBING

A city man charged in connection with a stabbing in Rahoon last September has been remanded in custody with consent to bail because the book of evidence isn’t ready yet.

33 year-old Billy McGinley of 188 Claremont Park, Rahoon, is charged with assaulting Darren Johnston causing him harm at the same address on September 3rd 2008.

He appeared before Judge Mary Fahy at Galway District Court today.

Judge Mary Fahy remanded McGinley in custody with consent to bail as set by the High Court to appear before Harristown District Court on January 16th at 10.30am.
