BOMB SQUAD CALLED IN AMID SECURITY ALERT AT GALWAY GARDA STATION

The army bomb disposal unit has been called after a security alert at Galway Garda Station.

It’s understood a suspect package was discovered at the Millstreet building around 9am.

The station and nearby car park have been closed awaiting the arrival of bomb experts.
