BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR 80 HOMES IN EAST GALWAY

A boil water notice has been issued to 80 homes in East Galway.

The Ballinlass/Carrownagopple/Gurteen group water scheme today tested positive for E-coli and coliforms.

It’s believed to have been caused by a chlorine pump breaking down.

Up to 300 people living in the area are being advised to boil all drinking water until further notice.
