BOIL NOTICE TO BE LIFTED IN GORT BY THE END OF JULY

A boil water notice, which has been in place in Gort for over three months is expected to be lifted by the end of July.

The notice was imposed as a result of works being carried out on the Gort Water Treatment Plant by the County Council.

A spokesperson for the Council says the works are at commissioning stage and that they hope to be able to lift the boil notice in Gort by the end of next month.
