BOIL NOTICE FINALLY LIFTED IN GORT

The boil notice, which has been in place in Gort for most of this year, has finally been lifted.

Galway County Council implemented the precautionary notice in March as a result of works on the Gort Water Treatment Plant.

The boil notice in Gort was supposed to be lifted by the June Bank Holiday weekend but was delayed as the upgrade works were delayed.
