GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a daring oneman raid on Bohermore Post Office yesterday morning.

Staff at the post office had just opened — shortly after 9am — when the masked raider approached staff and demanded cash.

According to Gardaí, the raider was not armed but after shouting out at staff, he seized an amount of cash from inside the counter. Gardaí haven’t given any indication as to the amount of cash taken in the raid.
