BODY FOUND WASHED UP IN SALTHILL IDENTIFIED

Gardai have identified a man whose body was found washed up on the shore in Salthill last evening.

While they are not releasing the name of the man until all relatives have been informed, it’s understood he was in his 30s and had been living in Salthill, although he is not from the area.

Gardai believe the body had not been in the water for a long period of time.
