BODY FOUND IN GALWAY HARBOUR IDENTIFIED

The woman who died after falling into the River Corrib in the city has been identified by Gardai.

She’s a 48 year-old woman from the Westside of the city.

Her name won’t be released until all her family members have been informed.

The Galway RNLI lifeboat crew recovered her body from rocks near the Enterprise Park at Galway Harbour shortly after 8 o’clock this morning.
