Barnaderg Post Office action group seeks Oireachtas committee meeting

An urgent meeting is to be sought with the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications to discuss the future of Barnaderg Post Office.
It follows a public meeting held last evening which called on An Post to clarify its intentions for the local service.
It’s now three months since the local community participated in a consultation process and made a number of submissions on why the facility should be retained.
The Action Group was given a mandate at the meeting to hold the CEO of An Post and Minister Pat Rabbitte to account.
