Ballybane kids in camp

Ballybane children had an activity-fuelled week full of arts, crafts and sports organised by a resident’s association in conjunction with funding from the city council.

The summer camp for children of Fána Glas residents between August 13 and 17 took place with the help of funding from Galway City Partnership, along with fundraising by the residents’ association.

Up to 34 children took part each day of the camp, which included two field trips to City Limits in Oranmore and the Turoe Pet Farm in Loughrea. Three days were spent in the Ballybane Community Resource Centre where the children took part in a variety of activities.
