BALLYBANE FAMILY APPEAL FOR COUNCIL HELP TO BRING CHILD HOME FROM HOSPITAL

The family of a two year old girl, who has been in hospital for the past year, are still waiting for the City Council to provide them with suitable accommodation for her.

Chloe Flaherty was born with craniosynostosis and has been left blind and brain damaged.

She was admitted to University Hospital Galway in April 2009 and has been under the care of doctors and nurses since then.

The family recently appealled for the City Council to provide them with accommodation to bring her home, but to date, no arrangements have been made.
