Ballinsaloe prepares for fun day

THE second Annual International day of Culture and Family Fun will be presented by the Meadow Cross Cultural Association (MCCA) at the Carlton Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe, on Bank Holiday Monday.

The day kick starts with an International Five-A-Side at 1pm at the Astroturf, Brackernagh Development Park. The festivities then continue at the Shearwater for 3pm when the International BBQs will be fired up. The hotel kitchens are also endeavouring to produce Salads from around the world to complement the BBQ.

The idea is a unique venture between the MCCA and the Shearwater in that it will cater for as many people as possible with Halal and vegetarian options. In addition to all the hard work by the hotel kitchens the staff Sports and Social Club are also …….
