BALLINASLOE TO GET NEW GARDA SUPERINTENDENT

Ballinasloe’s Garda Superintendent is leaving at the end of the month.

Superintendent Margaret Nugent took up the role in Ballinasloe a year ago to replace the late Peadar Carney.

She was the first female Superintendent in the town and will take up a new position at Garda Headquarters in Dublin.
