Ballinasloe meeting about future of rural post offices
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new association formed to tackle the crisis facing rural post offices will hold its first meeting tonight (7/7) in Ballinasloe.
The National Post Office Users Association is holding a Steering Committee meeting to make arrangements for the launch of a national organisation.
The meeting will take place at 8.30 tonight at Gullanes Hotel in Ballinasloe.
Co-ordinator of the National Post Office Users Association, Michael J. Kilgannon, says the time has come for rural Ireland to fight back.
