BALLINASLOE FBD OFFICE TO CLOSE

The Ballinasloe FBD office is to close as part of a nationwide cost cutting plan

It’s to be merged with the office in Athenry, and there will be a number of job losses although the company says they’ll be on a voluntary redundancy basis

Athenry and Ballinsloe employ a total of ten employees between the two offices.

The Galway city office will not be affected

FBD Insurance is reducing the number of its local offices around the country, from 47 to 34, and is seeking 150 voluntary redundancies in total
