BALLINASLOE CAROL SINGERS RAISE ALMOST 50,000 FOR CHARITIES

THE total raised by Carol singers in Ballinasloe is edging closer to the 50,000 Euro mark following street singing sessions which raised over 7,000 Euro during the festive season.

St Michael’s Church Choir, and some of their friends, helped raise the money for two groups following a three hour performance outside Gullane’s Hotel on Main Street.

This year they raised 7,300 Euro which brings their total fundraising to date to over 47,000 Euro.

All the funds raised by the Ballinasloe Carol singers this festive season go to local charities The Samaritans and the Chernobyl Sunflower Group.
