Instead the award winning Galway-based Go West Conference and Events Company embraced the world of virtual conferencing, to adapt their normal work for this pandemic era.
Having recently relocated to the GTeic Hub in Spiddal, they hosted the EPA’s “Restoring Our Waters” Conference – marking a significant milestone for the company run by Kathleen McDonagh and Kerry O’Sullivan and celebrating its 25th year in business in 2020.
Business tourism is worth over €74m to Ireland each year – and this year alone. Go West were due to host in excess of 20 national and international conferences in Galway alone.

“Business tourism supports, events, hotels, restaurants, food producers, visitor attractions, entertainment venues and providers, taxis and transport companies and much more besides.
