Auctioneering firm launches bidding service for househunters on the web
O’Donnellan & Joyce are adding an online bidding system for their ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ property auctions.
Their first property auction of the year will launch on February 1, with the auction itself taking place on Thursday, March 1.
It will coincide with the introduction of online bidding for their auctions.
Colm O’Donnellan told Tribune Property: “We have been making strides to move the company forward and online bidding will be the latest addition to their auction catalogue.
“We have to keep moving forward and this is another string to our bow. We have an elite team developing our online bidding platform.
“It will be a fantastic use of the ‘phygital’ – the physical auction taking place in the room and digital through online bidding.”
“It will be a tremendous addition to our already very successful ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ property auction series.”
The online bidding will allow buyers to purchase property anywhere in the world and watch the bidding online.
O’Donnellan & Joyce already have an established phone bidding and proxy bidding service which has been very successful for them, especially for clients around the world. These alternative options have allowed the auctions to be open worldwide by streaming live on their website odj.ie, and have already attracted bids from the likes of Australia, New Zealand, New York, Kuala Lumpar, UK and even Tokyo.
