ATTENDANCE AND BETTING DOWN AT LADIES DAY

Attendance and betting was down on ladies day in Ballybrit yesterday compared to the same day last year.

There were over 16 hundred fewer people at the Galway races yesterday, a total of 42,719 people compared to 44 thousand 418 in 2010.

Betting on day four of the races was down on last years figures by almost 200 thousand euro.
