Aisling Ní Cheallaigh and Ronan Brady in their new show.

Aisling Ní Cheallaigh and Ronan Brady’s brand-new blend of circus and theatre, How to Square a Circle, comes to Galway’s Black Box Theatre next Wednesday, October 30.

It’s a show that explores the limits of the human body and soul in a way that’s designed to inspire and create a sense of awe.

Following international tours with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and THISISPOPBABY, Aisling and Ronan have created a stunning new production that that’s currently on an Irish tour.

Both of them feature in the piece which is directed by Raymond Keane and is accompanied by the music and soundscapes of award-winning composer Alma Kelliher (see Macnas interview, page 3).

How to Square a Circle is a heart-warming story of friendship, ego, love and the joys of a cup of tea. With gravity-defying acrobatics, aerial dance, a cyr wheel and the promise of lots of laughter, two of Ireland’s leading circus performers prove that just because something is impossible, doesn’t mean it’s not worth trying.

This 55-minute show, which starts at 8pm, is suitable for all the family.

Tickets are €16/€12 or for a family (four people) they are €50, from tht.ie, 091-569777 and from the Town Hall box office.
