ATHENRY TO GET NEW THEATRE AND COMMUNITY CENTRE

Athenry is getting a cultural boost with a new theatre and community centre.

Athenry Community Council Trust Ltd has got the green light from county planners to build a fully serviced new community centre at Knockaunglass.

The new community centre will include a theatre and dressing rooms, bar and café, exhibition area, dance studio, art room and meeting rooms.
