ATHENRY LOTTO WINNER REMAINS A MYSTERY

The identity of Galway’s newest millionaire remains a mystery this morning.

This follows news that the winning ticket of Saturday’s National Lottery Jackpot was sold in Athenry.

The €16 ticket was bought in Burke’s Gift Centre Newsagents on Northgate Street.

Saturday’s Jackpot was over €2.6 million euro and there was only one winner.

While the winner won’t be known until at least Wednesday – when the Lotto Office re-opens – speculation in Athenry is rife.
