Aran lifeboat assists in medical evacuation

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The RNLI lifeboat was dispatched in the early hours of this morning (15/8) to assist in a medical evacuation on the Aran Islands.
A female tourist fell ill on Inis Mór just after 5am and was taken by the lifeboat to Ros a Mhil harbour.
She was then transferred to University Hospital Galway by ambulance.
It’s understood she is not in a serious condition.
