ARAN ISLANDS FERRY SERVICE SUSPENDED

One of two ferry services to the Aran Islands has been cancelled until next year due to rising fuel costs and a lack of grant aid.

According to today’s Irish Examiner, the service by Aran Direct, was suspended last evening and will not resume until next March.

Aran Direct has been running a ferry service between Ros s Mhil and Kilronan for the past 3 years.
