ARAN ISLANDS CO OP TOPS GALWAYS TAX DEFAULTERS LIST

A Co-Op on the Aran Islands has topped Galway’s latest tax defaulter list.

Comharchumann Inis Meain Teo has made a settlement of almost a quarter of a million euro to the Revenue Commissioners.

It’s for underdeclaration of Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE/PRSI and relevant Contracts Tax.

4 other Galway names appear on the list for the second quarter of 2010.
