APPEALS BOARD OVERTURNS COUNCIL’S REFUSAL FOR PORTUMNA MAST

A telecommunications company has been successful in its second attempt to erect a controversial mast in Portumna

Hutchinson 3G Ireland Ltd. were refused planning permission by County Planners for a 25 metre high pole with antennae at Quitman Enterprise Centre in Portumna

However in a surprise move, An Bord Pleanála has overturned that decision and given the go ahead for the mast
