ANNAGHDOWN GP REFUSES TO USE CERVICAL SCREENING SCHEME

A North Galway GP says she is not participating in the new national cervical screening programme.

Dr. Mary Rogan, who practices in Annaghdown is not happy with tests being sent to the US, and is now offering her patients a smear test service using a laboratory in Dublin.

According to today’s Irish times, Dr.Mary Rogan is unhappy with the Irish Medical Organisation’s contract negotiated for cervical cancer screening.
