An Bord Pleanala upholds decision on Ballinasloe school
Galway bay fm newsroom -An Bord Pleanala has upheld the county council’s decision to grant permission for changes at a national school in Ballinasloe.
The proposed development at Woodlawn national school involves the replacement and upgrading of a septic tank, and an external insulation system.
A third party objection was lodged to the higher planning authority raising concerns over surface water issues, and how the tank could deal with effluent.
An Bord Pleanala has approved the plan with two conditions, one of which states the septic tank drainage system must be in accordance with standards set out by the environmental protection agency.
