ALMOST 4 MILLION EURO FOR GALWAY BAY RESEARCH

Almost 4 million euro is going to be spent on research in Galway Bay.

The Government has sanctioned the money for SmartBay, a project to test and develop Marine technology.

The SmartBay project is led by Dublin City University and NUIG is a partner.

It already facilitates the partnership between academics, multi-national companies, indigenous enterprises and government agencies.
