ALMOST 200 THOUSAND EURO FOR COUNSELLING SUPPORT SERVICES IN GALWAY

A counselling support service in the city has been allocated over 50 thousand euro in grants.

The Galway Family Services Institute, which is based in the Liosban Estate is one of 33 counselling centres in Galway receiving a total of 190 thousand euro in funding.

The money is being allocated by the Department of Social Protection, and will help the organisations support men, women and children through traumatic events in their lives.
