ALLEGED ILLEGAL LAND CLEARING HALTED AT KILSKEAGH HILL

Alleged illegal land clearing in breach of an enforcement notice has been halted at Kilskeagh Hill, Monivea.

A bulldozer moved in on the land early this morning and began clearing land.

The site was the subject of controversy last August when Galway County council issued an enforcement notice on the site at Kilskeagh Hill after several acres of agricultural land were cleared without permission.
