All the world’s a stage. . .
Cast members outside the Mick Lally Theatre this week before rehearsals for for DruidShakespeare, Druid Theatre’s project to mark the company’s 40th year.
Mark O’Rowe’s new pared-down version of Shakespeare’s four history plays, Richard II, Henry IV (Parts. 1 & 2), and Henry V, is being directed by Garry Hynes.

DruidShakespeare will premiere in May in Druid’s Mick Lally Theatre before touring to Letterkenny, Sligo, Castlebar, Limerick, Skibereen.
It will premiere internationally in New York at the 2015 Lincoln Center Festival. In August, Kilkenny Arts Festival and Druid will present the production in the open-air theatrical space of Kilkenny’s Castle Yard, beside the historic building where Richard II and the future Henry V stayed during the events dealt with in the plays.
