In a departure from the usual fare of stand up and sketch comedy, the Vodafone Comedy Carnival has a treat for wrestling fans this year.

OTT or Over The Top Wrestling is Ireland’s newest OVER 18s American Wrestling entertainment company.

They are coming to the Black Box on Sunday 30th October for a night of insane wrestling mayhem. Galway’s wrestling fans should be especially pleased to learn that WWE and former WWF star X-Pac is coming to Ireland for this mind-blowing show.

X-Pac will be joined on the night by another WWE Legend, Chris Hero.

Wrestling fans in Galway will have never seen anything like this.

As if that wasn’t enough, we can now reveal that a host of comedians will also be performing on the night.

Amongst them will be Al Porter who claims to have his own leotard, while Ross Browne (from RTE’s The Fear) & Adam Burke (Hardy Har Comedy Club Bray) will take on wrestlers Paul Tracey and Logan Bryce with special enforcers in Team Comedy’s corner The Rubberbandits, who are expected to be able to source some wrestling masks with ease.

Be warned, this show is not very PC, it’s often outrageous and the action plays out to a hard rock soundtrack. It’s electrifying well-orchestrated madness which should not be missed.
