Comedian, musician and TV presenter Aindrias De Staic will bring his his acclaimed show The Man From Moogaga to the Forge in Moycullen for a special Christmas show on Monday December 28.

This award-winning rite-of-passage show is a mix of music, comedy and storytelling in which the hero is searching for his place in the grand scheme of things. It’s a funny, fantastical tale of growing up in remote small-town Ireland in the 1980s, and playing with friends on the local GAA team. As the years fly by, this ag–tag gang of teammates take to the road, becoming part of the Irish diaspora.

Throughout the performance, Aindrias uses his exquisite fiddle playing to adorn and embellish the narrative. Its rare mix of spoken word and virtuoso violin playing has proved to be a compelling combination that has been a hit the world over.

There will be a whole host of special guest musicians and comedians performing on the night and Gerry Mallon will MC the event.

Tickets are available in advance at the Forge in Moycullen at €10 euro and at the door on the night which opens at 8.30pm.
