Aerogen’s expansion in Galway
One of the success stories of Galway’s thriving medical devices sector has announced a major expansion – on the double.
Aerogen has already started work on a new building in Dangan – as well as a joint expansion with M&M Qualtech in Parkmore.
The 27,000 square-foot building, in the IDA Business Park, Dangan will include office and process and development lab space, along with staff parking. The building, which is being constructed by S Gilligan & Associates will be fully operational by late 2019.
“We are extremely excited that construction of our additional building is underway and look forward to all the advantages this facility will bring our company,” said John Power, Founder and CEO of Aerogen.
“We have been growing at a rate of 25% over the last ten years and as a result in order to support this growth we need to create additional space and continually hire talented professionals,” he added.
Aerogen are also involved with a joint expansion of a 10,000 square foot mezzanine floor and ancillary services at M&M Qualtech.
Aerogen have been working with Qualtech for almost 15 years, with Qualtech providing electronics manufacturing, assembly and logistical services.
Founded in 1997, Aerogen is the World Leader in Acute Care Aerosol Drug Delivery.
