AER ARANN SUSPENDS ALL FLIGHTS IN AND OUT OF GALWAY AIRPORT
Date Published: 12-Oct-2011
All Aer Arann flights in and out of Galway airport have been suspended from the end of this month.
It comes as the airline struggles to cope with heavy losses as passenger numbers for the flights continue to deteriorate.
Flights affected include Galway to London Southend, London Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh and Waterford.
Talks with Aer Aranns 35 flight deck and cabin crew at Galway are underway.
It’s understood the airline is offering staff the option to re-locate and the option to take unpaid leave through the Winter.
The airline is still hoping to resume the service for the Summer service.
