ADULT LEARNING CENTRE OPENS IN LOUGHREA

Adults here shouldn’t be insecure about returning to education according to County Galway VEC’s Adult Education Officer.

Eithne Nic Dhonnacha was speaking before the launch of the East Galway Adult Learning Centre’s new base in Loughrea.

The new centre is located in Abbey Street and is being officially opened by Minister for state Micheál Kitt at 3pm.

The centre, which is operated by County Galway VEC, helps adults to improve their reading, spelling or maths.
